Innovative Research from Our Visiting PhD Student Presented at #RSCPoster 2024
We are delighted to share that Emis Ingenito, a PhD student at DIFARMA – University of Salerno and a visiting researcher at Palacký University, has presented her latest research at the prestigious 2024 #RSCPoster Conference.
As a member of Professor Alexander Dömling’s Innovative Chemistry Group at the Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine and Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN), Emis focuses on cutting-edge drug discovery approaches. Her research explores the development of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole-based chemotypes designed to interact with PD-L1, a critical immune checkpoint regulator. Using an innovative Ugi-4CR/aza-Wittig one-pot multicomponent synthesis, this study aims to contribute to the advancement of immune checkpoint inhibition strategies.
Her poster, titled:
📌 “Exploiting Immune Checkpoint Inhibition: One-Pot Synthesis of Novel 1,3,4-Oxadiazoles as Potent PD-L1 Antagonists”, highlights promising findings in the field of medicinal chemistry.
We encourage colleagues and researchers to explore her work and join the discussion. Congratulations to Emis on this achievement, and we look forward to seeing how this research progresses!
